These are excellent questions. I think in Acts about the crooked generation is referring to the people in that time. I regards to oracles, these are my favorites. Oracles were OT prophet language, how the prophets would often give the word of the Lord to the people. They were broken up into Woe Oracles, Lawsuit Oracles and Promise Oracles. In regards to Acts 7:38, this shows that the promise oracles from the time of the Prophets were being fulfilled in the people of God, as Living Oracles. At least that’s what I think. I am open to other thoughts 🙂

The tribunal was a group of people
The synagogue is generally thought to be a place, but it could be a representational phrase representing a group of people who would meet in the synagogue. -
