Work begins on the next QuickFrame
November 12th, 2006 by tompossin
After a long break in new coding I have finally begun work on the next generation of QuickFrame. This will not be a bug fix release but a complete redesign of the program from the ground up. For those of you that understand web application jargon this version will be fully object oriented (more flexible and easier to maintain and add on to) with Web2.0 and AJAX features as well (Think Google apps).
Features:
{:> Online Basic required Information (Historical/literary Background)(New)
{:> Online paragraph titling and chart frames (like QuickFrame only better;)
{:> Complete Online Charting, not just frames. (New)
{:> Online Theme or Topical Summaries (New)
{:> Online Final applications (New)
{:> The ability to provide easy access to Online study materials and Bibles.
{:> The ability to create and run multiple “Schools” Online with independent staff and grading facilities for each school. (New)
{:> The ability for staff and students to communicate Online regarding their current work.(New)
{:> The ability for staff to communicate privately with the other staff of that Online school.(Expanded)
{:> Changing the name to StudyWorx to better reflect its new abilities?
If you have any suggestions or features that you would like, or a suggestion for a better name. Please comment on this post or write to me privately on the contact page.
